MyChildCareMA informed consent agreement

When you apply for Child Care Financial Assistance (child care benefits), the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) uses your information to process your application, check your eligibility, and if eligible, authorize your family for benefits when funding is available. This agreement explains how we use, share, and protect that information.

How do we use your data?

EEC and Family Access Administrators use the information you share solely to administer child care benefits. We may confirm or share the information you provide with other relevant state agencies, current or past employers, or educational/training institutions. We also use your information to meet reporting requirements and manage the program, as well as its effectiveness.

Your rights to confidentiality

EEC takes the protection of your personal information seriously. The information you share will be kept confidential as required by law and as written in this agreement.

Your authorization to release information

Please confirm that you have read and understood this agreement. You must authorize EEC, or give us permission, to collect, share, and use your information as written in this agreement.
