The details

What is Child Care Financial Assistance (CCFA)?

Child Care Financial Assistance, also known as child care benefits, helps eligible families enroll in and pay for their child care and/or out-of-school time programs. Based on your family size and income, this can cover part or all of your child care costs. Learn about child care benefits.

How to apply online

Please create or log in to your personal MyMassGov account to use the Family Portal. The portal allows you to apply for benefits, check on your status, read notices, and upload documents. If funding for child care isn’t immediately available, you will apply to join the waitlist.

Already receiving benefits? You do not need to do anything at this time. If you have questions about managing your benefits, please contact your Provider or local CCRR agency.

Are you a Family Access Administrator (FAA)?

Mass211, Contracted Providers, CCRRs, and EEC staff can use the MyChildCareMA Admin Portal. The Admin Portal allows FAAs to process applications and send messages to families.
