EEC Professional certification application
If you're an early childhood educator, you can apply for an optional professional certification from The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

We recommend gathering documents you may need before you apply. You'll have to apply again if any of your documents are missing or unclear.
Most applicants usually need to submit a copy of an official transcript, proof of Continuing Education Units (CEUs), or proof of other credentials or certificates.

- Personal information. This includes your date of birth, Social Security number, ZIP code, phone number and Professional Qualifications Registry (PQR) registration number (if you have one).
- Certification level. Tell us the certification level you want to apply for.
- Education experience. This includes the type of education, college-level credits, and any other certifications, credentials, or licensures.
- Work experience. This includes the type of program, age groups, and hours. Your supervisor will need to verify your work experience.
